This examination will be directed on the connection between authoritative system and structure. The principle research issue is identified with gathering the essential and optional information identified with the down to earth usage of the vital program in the mind boggling business association. It may be hard to gather information from the organizations to distinguish their connection between authoritative system and structure. It is seen that connection between hierarchical methodology and structure is totally founded on the vital arranging and the administrative choices. On the off chance that the organization doesn't build up the correct nexus between these the two sections then it might bring about the decimation of business and inevitably bring about t he high misfortune to the association on the loose. The techniques of the association mirror the arranging procedure in setting with the drawn out endeavors to achieve the set destinations and objectives. On the off chance that this arranging procedure isn't executed in a successful way, at that point it might destruct the business working and misfortune to administrative capacities everywhere level. Likewise, it may be difficult for the analysts to assess all the inner and outer components which may affect the vital arranging of the organization and structure of the business in future. This examination may be set up to give direction which will uncover the conceivable desire and vital arranging which could be embraced by the key administrative individual to maintain the business adequately. Unit of examination In this exploration report proposition, the unit of examination depends on the key program and administrative endeavors to set up a viable connection between authoritative methodology and structure. In any case, in this exploration report proposition, all the inside and outside elements of the possible future business of the organization will be thought about. It is seen that analyst will attempt the examination the vital arranging, maintainability of the association, advancement of the center competency of the association in the ramified monetary market and the various elements which may influence to set up the connection between hierarchical procedure and structure. There will be a few units of the examinations, for example, techniques to achieve the set objectives and destinations, potential dangers and shortcomings which may look by the organization in the market, change of the structure of the organization as per the proposed business systems program (Ashkenas, et al., 2015). Exploration question For what reason is it critical to set up the solid connection between hierarchical methodology and structure? What are the techniques and methodologies followed by associations to achieve define targets and objectives? What are the inner and outside variables of the association that may influence the techniques, methodologies executed to set up the connection between hierarchical methodology and structure? For what reason should the authoritative structure be tweaked to the proposed key plans and strategy? Writing audit With the expanding ramified monetary changes, and complex business structure, every single association needs to set up appropriate connection between authoritative methodology and structure. Be that as it may, setting up connection between hierarchical methodology and structure isn't the main matter of worry to achieve the set objectives and targets however foundation of coordination is additionally required. According to the impression of Laudon, and Laudon, (2016) it is assessed that the vital arranging and techniques utilized in an association ought to be founded on the structure and multifaceted nature of the business. Every single association has its own qualities, conviction, strategic vision based on their business structure, quality, shortcoming and potential dangers in the market. According to the perspectives on Kaiser, El Arbi, and Ahlemann, 2015) it is uncovered that these all are interlinked to its divisional structure program and executed vital program of the associatio n. It is viewed as that on the off chance that association needs to achieve its set destinations and objectives, at that point it needs to set up legitimate nexus between its created systems and structure. for example, in the event that organization needs to extend its business on global level, at that point it will initially need to change its authoritative structure according to the requirements and request of the customers in showcase and fitting techniques will likewise be injected by the administration to achieve the particular and general targets. The achievement of the actualized techniques is exceptionally founded on the hierarchical structure and executed business program. As expressed by Ingram, et al. (2015) it is portrayed that there are a few major association, for example, Wesfarmers, GE capital and Tesco that have changed its business structure while executing the global methodologies program. For example, GE capital while going into the Asian market needed to go into the key collusion and joint endeavor with other nearby association. This kind of key arranging and redid authoritative conduct increment the general results and effectiveness of the business association. It is mirrored that expanded business multifaceted nature expects the board to take viable procedures to lessen the intricacy and accomplish the set targets and objectives in decided methodology. It is viewed as that advancement and imaginative business working depends on the powerful business working and key arranging embraced by the administration. On the off chance that the authoritative structure is unpredictable and representatives discover trouble to work viably then it may affect the general business result of the association. There are a few variables which may affect the execution of the vital arranging in the association, for example, unstructured business process, non-viable monetary plan and representatives working and wrong inward control framework. According to the pe rspectives on Harper, (2015) it is dissected that every single business and non-business systems of the business incorporate a wide range of vital program. For example, if organization needs to introduce digital registering undertakings assets arranging in it business to build the general viability of correspondence then it should deal with its hierarchical structure according to the executed business program. It is obligations of the administration to facilitate the hierarchical structure in such a manner which will aid legitimate usage of the vital program of association. According to the view of Epstein, Buhovac, and Yuthas, (2015), it is unveiled that the vital arranging of the association depends on the drawn out basic assessment, factors influencing the business working and actualize the best possible business structure program. The executives needs to assess all the interior and outer business factors which may influence the association working to build the general adequacy o f the actualized vital program. The techniques are intended to achieve throughout the entire the term and transient objectives of the association. The primary finding of this examination is identified with adjusting the association structure with the actualized vital arranging. In the event that the organization needs to embrace the development business vital program, at that point the hierarchical structure should be extended appropriately. It ought to have legitimate arranging and business vital program by following decentralized working structure. In this association structure, every single worker will be appointed to their jobs and obligations and will work as needs be. Be that as it may, the adjustments in association structure depend on the mixed capital, systems embraced, executed the strategy and set targets and objectives. As expressed by Coser, (2017) it is portrayed that there ought to be the best possible nexus between every one of these elements if the organization need to accomplish its drawn out objectives. The arrangement of the vital arranging with the hierarchical structure begins with the implanting the detai led vital arranging in the vision and crucial the organization. The association structure ought to be planned in such a manner which will make every single representative dependable towards the accomplishment of set objectives and goals. It is discovered that in the event that association structure isn't structured with the detailed vital arranging, at that point it will either decrease the proficiency of the actualized key arranging or will crumple the business working because of expanded business unpredictability. According to the perspectives on Cornelissen, and Cornelissen, (2017) it is assessed that in the event that the hierarchical structure is planned according to the executed procedures, at that point it will result to the formation of center competency, decrease in worker turnover, expanded employability, solid brand picture and simple accessibility of assets and business. The expanded intricacy of the business could likewise be decreased by the executives by actualizing a ppropriate exploration program. The intricate business structure is the greatest downside in finding the ideal utilization of the key program in the association. Along these lines, re-designing of the current business procedure will make an association increasingly arranged for the business difficulties and make its business working according to the defined key arranging and methodology (Miles, et al. 1978). The writing survey of this examination report proposition will be set up based on essential and optional information gathered from a few sources. Big Data in Cloud Computing Issues
Huge Data in Cloud Computing Issues Conceptual The term huge information or tremendous data developed under the delicate augmentation of overall data as an advancement that can store and handle huge and vacillated volumes of data, giving the two undertakings and science with significant bits of information over its clients/tests. Distributed computing gives a strong, accuse lenient, open and flexible condition to harbor Big information conveyed the board frameworks. Inside this paper, we present a diagram of the two advancements and occurrences of progress while organizing enormous information and cloud structures. But large information deals with a lot of our current issues notwithstanding all that it shows a couple of fissure and issues that raise concern and need change. Security, protection, versatility, information heterogeneity, calamity recuperation frameworks, and various challenges are yet to be tended to. Different concerns are related to Cloud registering and its ability to oversee exabytes of information or address exaflop figuring capably. This paper presents a graph of both cloud and enormous information developments depicting the current issues with these advances. Presentation Starting late, there has been a growing interest to store and procedure a consistently expanding number of data, in regions, for instance, money, science, and government. Frameworks that reinforce huge information, and host them using distributed computing, have been made and used viably. Despite the fact that huge information is accountable for putting away and taking care of data, cloud gives a reliable, issue open minded, available and adaptable condition so enormous information framework can perform (Hashem et al., 2014). Large information, and explicitly huge information investigation, are seen by both business and logical ranges as an approach to compare data, find plans and anticipate new examples. In this way, there is an enormous excitement for using these two advances, as they can outfit associations with an advantage, and science with ways to deal with aggregate and pack information from examinations, for example, those performed at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). To have the ability to fulfill the current necessities, gigantic information frameworks must be available, flaw open minded, versatile whats progressively, adaptable. In this paper, we portray both distributed computing and enormous information frameworks, focusing on the issues yet to be tended to. We particularly analyze security concerns while getting a major information merchant: Data protection, information organization, and information heterogeneity; calamity recuperation methodologies; cloud information moving strategies; and how distributed computing rate and adaptability speaks to an issue regarding exaflop handling. Regardless of a couple of issues yet to be improved, we show how distributed computing and huge information can work honorably together. Our duties to the current situation with workmanship is finished by giving a layout over the issues to upgrade or still cannot appear to be tended to in the two advances or developments. Putting away and preparing immense volumes of information requires adaptability, adjustment to inner disappointment and availability. Distributed computing passes on all these through equipment virtualization. Likewise, huge information and circulated processing are two ideal thoughts as cloud engages enormous information to be open, adaptable and shortcoming lenient. Business see huge information as a beneficial business opportunity. Along these lines, a couple of new associations, for instance, Cloudera, Hortonworks, Teradata and various others, have started to focus on passing on Big Data as a Benefit (BDaaS) or DataBase as a Service (DBaaS). Associations, for instance, Google, IBM, Amazon and Microsoft furthermore offer ways to deal with clients to eat up huge information on demand. Large DATA ISSUES But enormous information handles various present issues regarding volumes of data, it is a continually changing extent that is reliably being created that despite everything speaks to a couple of issues. Around there, we show a part of the issues not yet tended to by enormous information and circulated registering. Security Undertakings that are needing to work with a cloud provider should know and pose the going with inquiries: a) Who is the real owner of the information and who approaches it? The cloud providers clients pay for an organization and move their information onto the cloud. In any case, to which one of the two accomplices does data really have a spot? Furthermore, can the provider use the clients data? What level of get to requirements to it whats more, with what purposes can use it? Could the cloud provider advantage from that data? Truth be told, IT bunches mindful of keeping up the clients data must have permission to information groups. Along these lines, it is in the clients perfect energy to surrender constrained access to data to restrain data get to and guarantee that figuratively speaking authoriz. b) Where is the information? Delicate information that is seen as authentic in one country may be unlawful in another country, along these lines, for the client, there should be an understanding upon the area of information, as its information may be seen as illegal in a couple of countries moreover, brief to arraignment. The issues to these requests depend on understanding (Service Level Agreements SLAs), be that as it may, these must be carefully checked with a particular ultimate objective to totally grasp the pieces of each accomplice and what game plans do the SLAs spread and not spread concerning the affiliations information. Security The procuring of information and the usage of scientific instrument to mine information raises a couple of security concerns. Ensuring information security and guaranteeing assurance has ended up being enormously irksome as information is spread and copied the world over. Protection and information confirmation laws are begun on particular control once again data and on norms for instance, information and reason minimization and limitation. Taking everything into account, it is questionable that constraining data gathering is constantly a convenient way to deal with insurance. Nowadays, the security approaches when taking care of activities give off an impression of being established on customer consent whats more, on the data that individuals deliberately give. Protection is unquestionably an issue that necessities further change as structures store colossal measures of individual data reliably. Heterogeneity Tremendous data concerns colossal volumes of information moreover particular velocities (i.e., information comes at different rates dependent upon its source yield rate and system idleness) and uncommon combination. Information comes to large information DBMS at different velocities and arrangements from various sources. This is since different data gatherers lean toward their have schemata or shows for information recording, and the idea of different applications furthermore bring about grouped information depictions. Overseeing such a wide combination of information and unmistakable speed rates is a hard endeavor that Big Data frameworks must arrangement with. This endeavor is disturbed by the way that new kinds of documents are continually being made with no kind of normalization. In any case, giving a predictable and general way to deal with address and examine intricate and creating associations from this data despite everything speaks to a test. Catastrophe Recovery Information is an extraordinarily significant business and losing data will completely achieve losing esteem. If there should arise an occurrence of event of emergency or dangerous incidents, for instance, tremor, floods and fire, information mishaps ought to be insignificant. To fulfill this essential, in case of any scene, data must be quickly open with insignificant personal time and misfortune. As the loss of data will possibly achieve the loss of cash, it is imperative to have the ability to respond capably to hazardous events. Adequately passing on enormous data DBMSs in the cloud and keeping it for the most part open and issue lenient may unequivocally depend on upon fiasco recuperation components. Different Problems a) Transferringdata onto a cloud is a moderate procedure and associations oftentimes choose to genuinely send hard drives to the server farms so information can be moved. Regardless, this is neither the most practical nor the most secure response for move information onto the cloud. During that time has been an effort to improve and make capable information moving estimations to restrain move times and give a safe way to deal with trade information onto the cloud, in any case, this procedure ledge a major bottleneck. b) Exaflop registering is one of todays gives that is topic of various conversations. Todays supercomputers and cloud can oversee petabyte informational collections, in any case, overseeing exabyte size datasets still raises heaps of stresses, since elite and high transmission limit is required to trade and procedure such immense volumes of information over the system. Distributed computing may not be the suitable reaction, as it is acknowledged to be more slow than supercomputers since it is restricted by the existent information transmission and idleness. Elite PCs (HPC) are the most reassuring game plans, anyway the yearly expense of such a PC is monster. In addition, there are a couple of issues in illustrating exaflop HPCs, especially as for profitable force use. Here, game plans tend to be more GPU based instead of CPU based. There are moreover gives related to the elevated level of parallelism required among hundred an enormous number of CPUs. Looking at Exabyte datasets requi res the difference in large information and examination which poses another issue yet to decide. c) Scalability and versatility in cloud computingspecifically concerning huge information the board frameworks is a subject that needs also research as the current frameworks scarcely handle information tops naturally. As a general rule, versatility is initiated genuinely rather than consequently and the bleeding edge of customized adaptable frameworks shows that most figurings are open or proactive and regularly examine adaptability fr

Nokia & Microsoft Alliance Essay Example for Free
Nokia Microsoft Alliance Essay Microsoft would thusly offer help to Nokia in selling its new Windows Phone fueled cell phones. Nokiaââ¬â¢s Canadian CEO, Stephen Elop, and Steve Ballmer, his Microsoft partner, reported that Nokia would make Windows Phone its primary telephone stage, a move that successfully affirms that Nokiaââ¬â¢s own foundation, Symbian and MeeGo, were uncompetitive and they would be hurled onto the innovation garbage dump. There were blended responses from investigators to the union among Nokia and Microsoft. The test before the senior administration at Nokia and Microsoft was the manner by which to make the coalition work. Nokia once commanded the market for standard ââ¬Å"feature phonesâ⬠and cell phones, the Internetenabled, multi-media gadgets that are turning out to be must-have devices for the business and top of the line shopper markets. In any case, Nokiaââ¬â¢s Symbian OS has not demonstrated mainstream with customers, who have been moving all at once to Android and Apple telephones. Subsequently, Nokia started to confront serious rivalry from organizations like Google, Inc. what's more, Apple, Inc. ho entered the market for top of the line cell phones after 2007. Investigators said Nokiaââ¬â¢s poor spotlight on programming and the absence of the most recent OS on its cell phones were the primary explanations behind its declining piece of the overall industry in the most recent years. In the harvest time of 2010, Nokia confronted three decision: the first was to continue building up its own OS, Symbian and MeeGo; the second was to receive Googleââ¬â¢s Android framework; and the th ird was to go with Microsoft. The main choice was dropped in view of the long lead times that would be required to refresh Symbian and get MeeGo propelled. Android dropped off the rundown in light of the challenges they were looking in ââ¬Å"differentiating [ourselves] in that environment â⬠¦ [Going with Google] would have felt somewhat like giving upâ⬠. In the cell phone industry, a biological system is the relationship of equipment designers (for this situation Nokia), programming engineers and the developers of uses, web based business, promoting, social applications, sight and sound administrations and so forth. The last alternative â⬠the organization with Microsoft â⬠was viewed as the best choice. Therefore, in September 2010 Nokiaââ¬â¢s board delegated another CEO, Stephen Elop, who was a previous official at Microsoft, to welcome to a greater extent an attention on programming and put the premise of NokiaMicrosoft organization. Alluding to this organization and the endeavor to forestall Googleââ¬â¢s Android 1 OS and the Appleââ¬â¢s iPhone from claiming the whole cell phone showcase, Mr. Elop said that ââ¬Å"this is currently a three-horse raceâ⬠. Situated close to Mr. Elop in a London lodging assembly hall, Mr. Ballmer said ââ¬Å"this organization with Nokia will quicken â⬠significantly quicken â⬠our Windows telephone ecosystemâ⬠. In any case, the association didn't intrigue financial specialists, who drove down Nokiaââ¬â¢s shares in Europe toward the start of February 2011. Experts said the dive was in acceptable part due to Nokiaââ¬â¢s notice of ââ¬Å"significant uncertaintiesâ⬠over how the progressions would influence the Finish companyââ¬â¢s execution. Not long after taking over as CEO of Nokia, Elop conveyed an update to the representatives underlining the need to achieve exceptional changes at the organization. Then again, Mr. Elop said the association with Microsoft was just piece of Nokiaââ¬â¢s methodology to recover piece of the overall industry and improve productivity in a violently serious market, in the mean time broad firings at both the senior administration and processing plant level were normal in different pieces of the world, including Finland. In a Reuters report, Finlandââ¬â¢s Economy Minister Mauri Pekkarinen said that Nokiaââ¬â¢s rebuilding after the organization with Microsoft ââ¬Å"is the greatest basic change which has ever affected new innovation in Finlandâ⬠. Because of the organization understanding, Nokiaââ¬â¢s powerful innovative work financial plan would likewise descend. The association with Microsoft will see the juvenile Windows Phone 7 stage become the predominant stage on Nokia telephones. This implies Nokia will in the long run stop dispatching telephones outfitted with its workhorse Symbian framework, however the organization despite everything expected to sell another 150-million items in 2011. Microsoft Phone 7 was propelled in 2010 and the primary telephones with the OS showed up available in October 2010; still, the systemââ¬â¢s piece of the overall industry is small â⬠close to 3 percent.

Similarities Between Freedom Writers And Freedom Writers
The film Crips and Bloods has similar parallels to the film Freedom Writers. Specifically, Freedom Writers explains the dynamics of gang rivalry and how that rivalry, together with racial tensions, transformed a once top -performing high school to one of the most under -performing high schools in the country. Most notable is Erin Gruwell, a newly hired teacher, and her willingness to teach and educate a class that has been labeled as delinquent and not worth wasting resources on. It is important to note that the majority of Ms. Gruwellââ¬â¢s students were either a member of gang themselves, or participated in some form of gang warfare. Many of the kids from the film stressed the importance of ââ¬Å"protecting their ownâ⬠which meant that they had toâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Ms. Gruwell certainly faces many obstacles and challenges in securing the resources and materials necessary to teach her class. In fact, Ms. Gruell even resorts to taking on two additional jobs to pr ovide the necessary materials for kids. Freedom Writers does an excellent job of highlighting some of the larger structural issues that exacerbate gang violence and racial tensions. For instance, in a one scene, an honors teacher criticizes Ms. Gruwellââ¬â¢s efforts in buying brand new books for the kids, saying that the kids will not appreciate the books, and are incapable of reading at such a high reading level. However, this exact rhetoric that undermines and denigrates these supposed ââ¬Å"delinquentâ⬠kids is precisely the problem -instead of supporting students, faculty and school administrators fail to provide students with the encouragement and resources necessary to succeed. More broadly, this points to the victimization of kids, as the gang members in Crips and Bloods mention. As we have discussed in class, more money is allocated for increased law enforcement, further criminalizing kids, particularly youth of color, than in investing in after school programs for them. Thus, the constant surveilling and policing of kids in theirShow MoreRelatedThe Deconstruction Of The Yellow Wallpaper Essay1196 Words à |à 5 Pages Additionally, from a deconstructive point of view, there is a central binary of constraint and freedom. ââ¬Å"People will typically be more enthusiastic where they feel a sense of belonging and see themselves as member of a community, in comparison to a workplace in which each person is left to their own devicesâ⬠Kohn (1999 pg. 188). This outlines that when people have a sense of belonging they will thrive, and demonstrates the importance of work place culture and how it has a large influence on if a business is successful, in the same way that Cameron and Quinn explained (2011) that some of todayââ¬â¢s successful firms have developed a distinctive culture that is identifiable by its employees, for example Disney. In early years settings this sense of belonging is shared through having a uniform, a defined set of values, policies andâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Another major factor is how the individuals will play a role in how the communication is received, for example their role within the setting. This is supported by Tylor and Van Every (2000) when they stress th at with clear and concise communication between employees an organisation can emerge and grow. Schins (1985) explained in his model that there are three basic levels of elements for culture , described as layers. One of these is artefacts which are the visible elements like uniform worn by staff and children which shows a group presence and aides belonging, providing a sense of family, furthermore there is organisational structure, the manager leading the setting with their values which are fed down through the deputy to the early years practitioners, through strategies and goals set by the manager, and any policies and procedures the setting follows. One of these is what the setting stands for which is for all children to be happy and to achieve, another one is where the setting aims to be in the future. Which in the case of early years is striving to achieve the highest grade with OFSTED, if staff feel valued and confident in their work this will influence a more positive attitude in their behaviour and feelings, and will want to achieve more as a whole. The specified country can also utilize other renewable sources, for instance, bio-energy, wage power and geothermal energy, which in turn can help Australia to meet its emerging demand of this concerned sector within the country. Hence, this report has intended to analyze the present stand of Australias renewable energy along with its implications on environment (Manasseh, McInnes and Hemer 2017). This topic is important for the environmental policy makers along with producers of those renewable energies as they can supply the output according to requirement along with affective policies that can encourage the production of this output. By discussing the stand of this sector, the report can provide some recommendations that can further encourage the sector to produce more. Article review: Through this renewable energy sector, the concerned country has produced enough electricity to run almost 70% homes in the last 2015-16 financial year. Moreover, according to the Australian Renewable Energy Index, after the completion of wind and solar projects, the country can produce sufficient amount of energy to run almost 90% households after 2016-17 (Vieira, Stewart, Lamberts and Beal 2018). Hence, based on sector analysis, the index has predicted that the renewable energy, through its rapid expansion, can capture the Australian electricity markets, which are dominated chiefly by gas-fire and carbon-emitting coal. Hence, this phenomenon has helped Australia to reduce pollution level by cutting down its thermal electricity production. The advance production of renewable energy can be supported by statistical data, for instance, the country has produced 7% output of total national electricity in 2015-16 while in middle of 2016-17 it has become 18.8%. Australias single biggest sou rce of renewable energy is hydro-electricity, which has produced almost 40% output while wind and rooftop solar energy have produced 31% and 18% of total electricity output, respectively (Robertson 2018). The sector, through constructing 46 large-scale projects of energy, has generated almost 8868 full-time employment opportunities. However, Australia can face difficulties on energy efficiency and demand response like German. Hence, according to some economists and policy-makers, the concerned country needs to focus stable supply of renewable resources (Latimer 2018). Hence, to meet the targets of Paris agreement regarding low carbon emissions, the country needs to generate 50% renewable energy of its total energy production. By applying new standards of production and decreasing energy consumptions of home appliances, the power bills of households can be decreased. Economic analysis: The real scenario of renewable sector of Australia and its implications can be discussed with the help of some economic concepts regarding job creation and its impact on national income, cost of production, economies of scale and externalities. The renewable sector has significant contributions on the countrys national income as it has generated huge employment opportunities by constructing various projects related to renewable energies (Feldstein 2017). This phenomenon has further helped Australias national income to increase by developing the aggregate demand, which in turn has led the aggregate price level to increase more and this phenomenon can help the economic condition of Australia to develop further. Figure 1: Increase in national output of Australia Source: (created by author) According to figure 1, it can be stated that the by increasing the aggregate demand, Australia can increase its national income by Y0 Y1 while the aggregate price level of the country has increased by P0 P1 unit. Figure 2: Positive externalities Source: (created by author) In the above diagram, social benefit can be obtained at Qs, while people are getting benefit at Qp. Hence, by producing more renewable resource, the country can receive pollution free environment while at present they are getting amount it comparatively low (Bosi and Desmarchelier 2018). The Australian economy can experience positive consumer externalities through producing renewable energy, where marginal social benefit is higher compare to the marginal private benefit. This in turn has influenced the social optimal quantity to remain at a higher position private consumption has remained at Qp level. Hence, from this consequence it can be stated that the citizens can be better off if the economy produces more amount of renewable resources. Figure 3: Economics of scale Source: (created by author) On the other side, to produce renewable energy, the economy needs to bear huge costs, for instance, construction of new project plans (Badunenko and Kumbhakar 2017). However, increasing amount of energy production has led the production cost to decrease. This implication has helped the consumers of renewable energy to pay fewer bills, which in turn has generated consumer surplus in this market. Recommendations: The large number of population with huge cost price for houses has generated burdens on Australian policymakers. Hence, by generating more renewable energies with lower price can reduce the cost burden of Australian citizens. This in turn can generate consumer surplus. Moreover, the government can reduce the taxes on those energies to encourage people for using this by large amount. Hence, through effective fiscal policies, the government can encourage people to consume more renewable energy. Figure 4: Green house gas emission of Australia Source: (Xia et al. 2017) The above diagram has represented the trend of Australias green house gas (GHG) emission, which have remained at a higher and stable position since 2011 due to thermal energy production. However, the Climate Change Authority, the country needs to reduce its GHG, which is represented by the purple line in the diagram while the pick line has represented the GHG reduction target based on the governments Paris Agreement (Xia et al. 2017). Hence, achieve these targets; Australia needs to produce renewable resources by large amount while the energy production from coals needs to decrease. Conclusion: It can be concluded from the above discussion that renewable energy is going play a significant role in Australia by influencing the country from different aspects, for instance, by generating employment opportunities and by decreasing the level of population environment. Hence, the concerned country has constructed many projects of renewable resources that can run almost 90% houses. Those positive implications can be described with the help economic concepts to understand the scenario deeply. However, to protect the self-interest of consumers and to decrease the pollution level, the Australian policymakers need to take some initiatives. References: Badunenko, O. and Kumbhakar, S.C., 2017. Queen Hatshepsut Essays - Thutmose I, Ancient Egyptian Mummies
Queen Hatshepsut Hatshepsut was the first female ruler who ever ruled in all the history of the world. She was the most remarkable women that influenced history as a whole as well as Egypt itself. She was the first female pharaoh who ever ruled Egypt. Hatshepsut came to be by her parents TuthmoseI and Aahmes. She had two brothers who died prematurely and she was the favorite child. Unfortunately her two brothers both died. Since she was the only child left, she would become heir to the throne when her father dies. Hatshepsut's family tree made it easier to understand and it is a bit complex. It starts with Hatshepsut's parents' parents. Senseneb was married to AmenhotepI and had Tuthmose I, but Amenhotep I, also had a child with Aahotpou II and they had Aahmes, who Tuthmose I married. Tuthmose I and Aahmes had three children. They had two sons named Ouazmosou and Amenmosou who both died prematurely. Their third child was none other than Hatshepsut. Her father, Tuthmose I had a son with a commoner named Moutnofrit, their son was named Tuthmose II. Hatshepsut and her half-brother Tuthmose II were married. There is more to this family tree that I will discuss later. When Hatshepsut's father died they became the new rulers of Egypt. Tuthmose I died in 1512 and it became Tuthmose II and Hatshepsut's turn to rule. Tuthmose II was the one who was to gain the throne, but it was said that for the few years of his reign, Hatshepsut was doing most of the decision making. Hatshepsut had a child but it was very likely that it was her lovers, Senmut. But also Tuthmose II had a son with a commoner whose name was Isis. Their son was named Tuthmose III. Tuthmose II was pharaoh for only three or four years. Archeologists found some markings on the surface of his mummy that indicate that he had died of skin disease. His son with Isis, Tuthmose III, was too young so Hatshepsut was the person chosen to rule since Tuthmose III worshipped as a priest of the god Amon. My opinion is that the only reason she was able to become queen was because she was just serving as his regent. That is what most people wanted because this was the last thing that they would have to deal with, a female queen or king. But she was not at a person to just sit there and wait for the young TuthmoseIII to be old enough to become king. (web page:" ") She was his regent for a short period of time, but around 1503 she demanded herself to become crowned pharaoh. She took s royal name that is only to be used by kings. She used the full "pharaonic regalia," even the fake beard and all, these things are only to be used by pharaohs. A major part of her successful reign was her loyal and influential officials, they had control over the most important parts of her government. (web page: " ") A man named Edouard Naville believed he deciphered Hatshepsut's whole name. He said it consisted of four parts. The first one was "standard" name, "she who is rich, powerful through her'ka's, her doubles. The second, nebti, is the pharaoh's rule over both East and West. Her third name was her "Horus" name, Horus names are the names that only pharaoh's can have. Hers reads as "The divine one in her risings." And her last name uses two cartouches, Kamara which means the "true double of Ra." And "Hatshepsut." (web page: HATCART.HTML) The name that was written on her seal was "the Horus, mighty by his Kas, the lord of East and West abounding in years, the good goddess, the pious lady, the golden falcon, divine in her rings, the king of Upper and Lower Egypt, Kamara, the daughter of Ra, Khnumit Amon, Hatshepsut."(web page:" ") Before Hatshepsut became pharaoh she was always a female, but as she was crowned she transformed into the appearance of a man. She wore the same outfit as the former pharaohs. Even in her "great seal" she was referred to as a man, various information states the reason for this is either the artists or scribes were wrong, it was too hard in Egyptian written language or Egyptians could not have a female being a pharaoh, so Hatshepsut was referred to as male and female. (web page: HATSHEPSUT.HTML, encyclopidia) Hatshepsut was very productive as queen.

Characters in The Poisonwood Bible and The Awakening Essay Example
Characters in The Poisonwood Bible and The Awakening Essay Example Characters in The Poisonwood Bible and The Awakening Paper Characters in The Poisonwood Bible and The Awakening Paper Essay Topic: The Awakening The Bible Barbara Kingsolverââ¬â¢s The Poisonwood Bible and Kate Chopinââ¬â¢s The Awakening both portray the desire of women to seek independence as seen by Orleanna and Ednaââ¬â¢s dissatisfaction with treatment from their husbands, the significant decision to leave their current locations, and the self-discovery found in a life that breaks their expected norms. Although Leonce and Nathan live on opposite sides of the world, they show a similarity in how they treat women as objects, evoking unhappiness due to this treatment. For example, one of the first scenes in The Awakening portrays Leonceââ¬â¢s genuine attitude towards Edna. The story states, ââ¬Å"ââ¬ËYou are burnt beyond recognition,ââ¬â¢ Mr. Pontellier added, looking at his wife as one looks at a valuable piece of personal property which has suffered some damageâ⬠(Chopin, 7). This quote exemplifies Leonceââ¬â¢s condescending nature and his tendency to view Edna as only an object that benefits his self image, which causes Edna to feel rather worthless in the marriage. As the story progresses, readers see deeper into Edna and Leonceââ¬â¢s relationship, only to realize how truly dissatisfied Edna is with the expectations and treatment she receives from her husband. ââ¬Å"If there is any real discord between the couple it is that Leonce wishes Edna to have more di rect involvement with her children. It is only when she breaks with every social convention of the time that he questions her as a wifeâ⬠(Kate Chopinââ¬â¢s ââ¬Å"The Awakening,â⬠Caldwell). This constant questioning that Leonce lays upon Edna only causes her to become more disgruntled with her marriage. Orleanna experiences similar treatment from Nathan in The Poisonwood Bible and can relate to Ednaââ¬â¢s struggle of being worn out by her husbandââ¬â¢s immense expectations. As Orleanna and her four daughters grow accustomed to dealing with Nathanââ¬â¢s overzealous and overdriven attitude in Kilanga, they begin realizing that Nathan does not value them like

Small business managment Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 250 words
Small business managment - Essay Example These problems are all caused by having unmotivated employees who will jump, at any chance, to leave the company. In addition, the major fact that supports this is the high employee turnover rate (Robertson 316). Solutions include the downsizing of staff to reduce company expenses, closing down irrelevant divisions that are not performing well, consolidating positions and restructuring the staff (Robertson 316). All the above stated solutions are all solutions that can save a company at the edge of closure, but the best solution is that which includes increasing the motivation of the workers since they are the simple factors that can make or break a company. (Robertson 317) The C.E.O of Intermatic Inc. Miller proved beyond a reasonable doubt that a company may employ many tactics to save itself from failure, but the only best solution is to make the employees happy and comfortable and that will lead to success, and profitability of the

Strategy Implementation Term Paper Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 750 words
Strategy Implementation - Term Paper Example In centralized organizational structure, the authority for decision making is determined at the top, and a few people being responsible for making decisions and creating organizationââ¬â¢s policies. Decentralized organization structure means that every level of management throughout the organization is given authority to decision and policy making. Lines of authority have limits and powers, that is, separate, different levels of an organization structure. These lines define different groups of people such as the manager, human resource team, and chief engineers. Lines of communication are the path one follows to convey given information from one level of an organization to the other until the top level is reached (Pryor, et al, 2009). This helps make efficiency of performance increase among the workers as they are free to convey their issues to the top groups with ease. According to Pryor et al. (2009), committees are the most formal of these types of work group, appointed or sele cted to perform a function on behalf of a larger group. They must be headed by a committee chair and are composed of individuals representing different points of view e.g. junior or senior faculty. A team is a group of people with complementary skills organized to function cooperatively as a group. They change the culture of an organization from one tradition to a focused level so that to forefront change. Task forces are work groups comprising experts, in specified areas of knowledge, and skills to accomplish an objective. Systems The company budget is set annually based on the previous year expenditure with considerations for expected maintenance, acquisition of new airliners and staff training, promotions and the projected cost of operation. The companyââ¬â¢s strategic plan, e.g., expected expansion, diversification, insurance costs and cooperate responsibility, is factored. As stated by Bower (1966), planning is the process of developing and maintaining a project plan that pr ovides supporting details to the project definition in terms of resources, time, cost, scope, and schedule. In the airline company, the plan provides the framework that will ensure that the project results are achieved within defined performance objectives of time, cost, quality, and slope. The planning is both at an individual and collective levels and involves five phases: first, the purpose and principles definition, where the question why is answered and the boundaries sets and focus toward completion done. Secondly, the expected outcome is visualized. Thirdly, idea generation that is brainstorming for moving project to completion. Fourthly the suggested and brainstormed ideas are organized to set the sequence and priorities. Lastly the next course of action is identified. The performance evaluation measures in the airlines involve the use of annual net income, market value per share, quality of strategic and business plans, customer satisfaction and the skills of the employees. The team is evaluated based on; attendance and constructive participation in team meetings, contribution to a group effort independent of team meetings, ability to work as a team, and overall contribution (Bower, 1966). People According to Bower (1966), employees in an airline must possess skills that help them deliver the expectations of the organization. They include skills in catering, maintenance, machines operations, human resource and many others. They are the skills gained by employees in their various

Therefore, there is a need to utilize different types of materials which had created earlier studies regarding dance schools in the secondary level. Through the use of different articles, this would shed light to the aim of proving that dance lessons are needed by students in the secondary level. Literature Review Article Title: Dance Education Research: What Train Are We On? Karen Kohn Bradley, a dance educator, conducted a study regarding the role of dance classes in the educational reforms of public schools in the United States. Bradley admitted that as a dance instructor she is aware that learning through movement like dance is a powerful agent that substantially helps in the enhancement of the cognitive skills of students. In the same manner, she also pointed out that dance classes teach students the valuable lessons, especially in terms of discipline. The two aforementioned approaches of dance education often create tension, which is not realized by educators in public schools that teaches dance classes. However, the present condition of public schools requires accountability and educational reform in order to properly address the root causes of current problems. In line with this, the relevance of dance in American public schools during the time of educational reform is given more emphasis (Bradley, 2001). Bradley pointed out in her study that dance programs and classes are among the most under-represented and marginalized, and misunderstood field of education. The important role of dance classes in public schools are often taken for granted, which is why there is a big possibility that it would not achieve due recognition in the reforms that are happening in American public schools. Bradley proposed that dance educators and other stakeholders in the field of dance education should start giving more value to themselves but further mastering in their craft. Furthermore she also pointed out that dance educators and stakeholders should not give up their fight in the inclusion of dance classes in public schools, especially since they are very much aware of the benefits that it can provide to their students (Bradley, 2001). Article Title: Nurturing Excellence through the Arts In the written work of Vanessa Camilleri and Anthony D. Jackson with the title ââ¬Å"Nurturing Excellence through the Artsâ⬠stated that it is important that art classes must be taken by different students for it is will provide a very positive effect for the students. In ATA or the Arts and Technology Academy, the students are required to have extracurricular activities in three times a week in the whole school year. Moreover, there is direct participation of various professors and parents in developing a certain program that would enhance the ability of the students in the arts. The authors were able to mention that the arts program is not only limited to dancing but to the wider variety of performing arts. The school was able to create a program where in art shall be a source of education for the students. In the light of this, it is presented that the school wanted to integrate learning from a philosophical perspective of arts. More so, it is dancing which will bring a higher development for students not only in terms of academic level but also for their personal development. In the philosophy of the school, the lessons bring the students bring artistic content and develop the emotional and social skills of children. It is mentioned that in reality, it is the computing and interpersonal skills that must be developed in order to adapt in the modern world. Therefore through the activities in the performing arts, students shall be much more able to comply to the fast paced world with fewer complications. Definitely, the techniques of teaching the children utilized in ATA is highly focused on the arts as its association the development and nourishment of students in their future lives (Camelleri Jackson, 2005). Article Title: Performance and Motivation in Dance Education In the written work of Elizabeth Lazaraoff, it is evident that there is the need to incorporate dancing as one of the main subjects in public schools for it is one of the most effective motivational practices available in teaching. For most students get bored in schools due to their uninterested attitudes, it is dancing or the whole perspective of performing arts must be associated with the development of students and the curriculum in public schools. For most schools are focused in science and math, a new concept that is much relatable for children in the elementary level shall help motivate students in being active in school. Furthermore, the author suggests that the performing arts must be associated not only in the curriculum but also in the teaching techniques of teachers. Article Title: Gliding Glissade Not Grand Jete Elementary Classroom Teachers Teaching Dance This article presents that there is a need to create a program of dancing in the elementary level. Such levels are very fun loving and playful hence, they are needed to be stimulated through performing arts in order for them to be much motivated. However, the article created by Anne Dunkin states that the elementary level is very good in absorbing and appreciating such type of concepts. On the other hand, other levels such as the secondary and university level are less appreciative in such kind of teaching. More so, the US Department of Education pointed in their 2002 report that most secondary and elementary schools are not practicing art education. There are only one fifth of schools in the United States offer the instructions in dancing. Hence, not all students have the opportunity dancing and performing arts as a whole. Therefore, Dunkin wanted to attain a level of awareness that there is a need to incorporate dancing in the curriculum of each school in the United States. Although the goals might not be possible in the next five years of the thought of such association of dance to schools are also not impossible. The author suggests that there must be a full regarding with such type of issue. There must be a high association that would pursue the interests of students in their artistic side. With such type of organization, the possibility of attaining an artistic curriculum shall be created (Dunkin, 2004). Article Title: Dance Education in Elementary Schools Based on the research study regarding the status of K-12 dance education, two levels of implications have been observable about dance education: the first one of the practical effect while the other one involves the clarification of visions. The practical implication emphasized the need to include new requirements about dance classes with corresponding guidance and resources in order for students to effectively learn in their dance lessons. However, there is a huge gap between the requirements and the reality because extensive teacher training and the need for provision materials should be given attention, since these are the main problems that affect dance classes and programs. Moreover, teachers should not be merely regarded as technical support because it is pivotal that they are included in the decision-making process when it comes to educating students (Bresler, 1992). Article Title: K-12 Dance Education: Four Model Programs The article written by Bresler discussed dance education in elementary schools by means of narrating and assessing a particular research study about the status of dance education in elementary schools. The status of dance education was studied by means using four perspectives, namely: ââ¬Å"musician Liora Bresler, an outsider, looks at dance programs in Illinois elementary schoolsâ⬠(Knowles et al. , 1992, n. p. ). In line with this, other reputable personalities also participated in the study of Bresler, such as: Susan Stinson, who represented the perspective of high school students about the value of dance; Patricia Knowles and Rona Sande presented a model dance programs in four different parts of the United States; and Peggy Schwartz is the one responsible in the creation, development and even demise of the dance certification for educators in the state of Massachusetts. The efforts made by the different important people in the study contributed in gathering the necessary data about the national trends in teacher education, requirements for certification, and the application of programs (Knowles et al. , 1992). Article Title: Dance Education in American Public Schools: Case Studies The report of Knowles and Sande are consists of four case studies that represent the results of a national survey that was conducted by the National Arts Education Research Center. The main purpose of the research is to identify and choose model schools that already have curriculum-based K-12 dance education programs. The schools that were part of the research study were: ââ¬Å"Fillmore Arts Center (Washington, D. C. ). Buffalo Academy for the Visual and Performing Arts (Buffalo, New York, Duxberry Park Arts IMPACT School (Columbus, Ohio), and Jefferson High School for the Performing Arts (Portland, Oregon). The important areas of discussion that were included in each case study are: the educators/faculty, curriculum, program objectives, facilities, and equipment. The results of the study showed that the school that were observed have several similar characteristics, namely: ââ¬Å"strong parental and community support; mutual respect among dance faculty and a unified program philosophy; frequent communication and a positive working atmosphere; a belief in integration within content areas and in interdisciplinary work; a curriculum that excites students; and administrative confidence and supportâ⬠(Knowles and Sande, 1991, n. p. ). Article Title: Revitalizing Pennsylvania through Creativity: Dance Education Giguere, a Pennsylvanian herself, wrote an article that talks about the way by which their place was able to address difficulties through the help of dance education. The author pointed out the bleak future of Pennsylvania due to the economic hardships that it is experiencing. In addition, Pennsylvania also has to deal with other problems such as: slow population growth, aging work force, and the increasing presence of suburban slumps. The aforementioned untoward situation of Pennsylvania is greatly contributing to the ââ¬Å"brain drainâ⬠of its highly-educated and competent workers. Giguere was able to found out in her research that the reasons for the flight of most young professionals are due to the lack of arts and culture in local Pennsylvania communities. In line with this, Giguere emphasized that Pennsylvania can actually make its situation better by means of improving its arts and culture by establishing and improving dance classes. The author strongly believes that the strength of Pennsylvania is not found in technology but rather in enriching its arts and culture. (Giguere, 2005). Analysis All the articles have each own relevance in terms of providing information that would help people in attaining the importance of education and dance. Some articles provide different kinds of perspectives in the current development of the association of dance and education. There are articles where in the authors provide the significance and reasons for the need of dance and performing arts in education. Most of the authors mention that dance in the academic setting motivates the students in going to school and it further helps students in attaining a much balanced lifestyle. Emilias Contemporary Stand :: essays research papers
Emiliaââ¬â¢s Contemporary Stand In equation with the Elizabethan era, Shakespeare offers us a male dominated society in his renowned tragedy, Othello. Consequently, this definitely persuades a negative attitude and demeanor towards the women of the times. The female characters in the play: Desdemona, Emilia, and Bianca; play relevant roles in contributing to oneââ¬â¢s understanding of this exhausted Elizabethan view. In contrast to the larger portion of the play, Emilia, spouse to the scandalous Iago, takes an opinionated stand for Desdemona in relation to her wholesome gone sour relationship with the Moor of Venice, Othello. I recognize Emiliaââ¬â¢s ââ¬Å"Betrayal lectureâ⬠as a justified outlook in accordance with todayââ¬â¢s period and events surrounding Desdemonaââ¬â¢s and Othelloââ¬â¢s fatal misunderstanding. In Act IV, scene ii and iii, Emilia shows her contemporary views about relationships to the audience and talks to Desdemona while doing so. She believes that many men and women are commonly guilty of cheating and betrayal of their partner. At this point, Othelloââ¬â¢s worries of Desdemonaââ¬â¢s unfaithfulness have wholly increased, and he begins to accuse her of cheating on him. Desdemona then hopes Othello sees to her honesty and truthfulness of the matter. ââ¬Å"I hope my noble lord esteems me honestâ⬠(Act IV, scene II line 67). Othello counters her begging by beginning his sarcasm and request for her to never have been born. He says, ââ¬Å"O, ay. As summer flies are in the shambles, that quicken even with blowing. O Thou weed, Who art so lovely fair and smellââ¬â¢st so sweet That the sense aches at thee, would thou hadst neââ¬â¢er been born!â⬠(Act IV scene II lines 68-70) As Desdemona constantly denies his accusations, Othello becomes very angry. He asks for her forgiveness (jokingly) and says ââ¬Å"I took you for that cunning whore of Veniceâ⬠(Act IV, scene ii, line 93). Desdemona is left mad by Othelloââ¬â¢s ridicule and listens to Emiliaââ¬â¢s contrasting attitude. As Othello and Lodovico leave the scene, the Moor commands Desdemona to exit Emiliaââ¬â¢s presence and exclaims, ââ¬Å"get you to bed on thââ¬â¢ instant.(Act IV scene iii line 7). Emilia fervently disagrees with Othello and graces us with her pro- female attitudes once again by saying, ââ¬Å" I would you had never seen himâ⬠, with Desdemona agreeing light-heartedly as well.(Act IV scene iii lines 19-20) . Emilia displays to Desdemona a helping hand and says to leave Othello if she is so hurt by his ââ¬Å"understandingsâ⬠. ââ¬Å"â⬠¦Having the world for your labor, ââ¬Ëtis a wrong in your own world, and you might quickly make it rightâ⬠She is basically explaining to Desdemona to leave Othello for his ludicrous antics.

Life Principles
Certain past experiences have shaped and melded principles that I live by daily. Values such as time, family and health became a priority through difficult moments. Events when I had health problems taught me to appreciate time and prioritise my well-being and moments when I was deprived of closed ones made value them more than ever before. First of all, one of my main moments in life was when I was misdiagnosed with cancer. It all started when I was still in school, my maturity exams where getting close and every day I was followed by constant headaches. Few month were spent going from one doctor to another. Finally I got results of MRI of my brain which said I have cancer tissue. I remember as it was yesterday, going out of the hospital, standing and hugging my mother and crying. I never felt that scared in my life. Then, after more visits I received another diagnosis, thankfully a brighter one. Those few month have thought that time should not be wasted as there might not be as much of it as you wish. Secondly, fast-forward to a couple years later. I had the opportunity to do an internship in Milan at one starred Michelin restaurant. I believed it was going to be the next step in my career as a pastry chef. Then those three months that I spent in Italy were one of the most intense and toughest month. As I worked fourteen hours a day, six days per week, homesickness was in full mode. It was not easy, but it helped me understood how much I miss and value my family and close friends. Finally, one year has gone by since I was in Milan and I was facing health issues once again. I completely transformed into a workaholic and drove myself into a hospital bed. I would be lying in the hospital bed, l still would stress about my job. With the help of my family and close friends I understood that if I want to live a happy life, I should prioritise my mental and physical health. All in all, my past experiences helped to figure out how much I value my time, family and health. These values have become my guidelines, not only in times of struggle, but in everyday situations. Having strong values in life can help make better decisions and lead a stable life.

Hills Like White Elephants A Critical Analysis - 1708 Words
ââ¬Å"Hills Like White Elephantsâ⬠: A Critical Analysis Introduction: One of the many themes in his stories for which Ernest Heming way is known, includes feminism. At Hemingwayââ¬â¢s time feminism was known as a famous movement and it affected many important writers like Octavia Butler and Virginia Woolf. Hemingway was a literary icon of his time and he was influenced by the political, social and human rights movements of his time. He was also touched by the hopelessness of women and how their thinking and decision making is manipulated by the dominant male class. His story ââ¬Å"Hills Like White Elephantsâ⬠focuses on a situation which he apparently noticed during his trip of Spain; he overheard a couple discussing the abortion and risks included in this. Thesis: Basically, this story is set in a railway station in the valley of Ebro, Spain. The writer waits for the express from Barcelona and that is the exact time when he overhears an American couple talking about something which sounds like abortion. This word is not used even once in the story but, the course of the discussion makes it pretty clear that it was something about a decision which is to be made by the girl, although she was forced by her companion. The man in this story represents a modern Western man. While he understands the importance of free will and women s rights, he is still a man and he wants to force his decision on his companion in a way which does not make him look like forcing his opinion.
